You can configure Anthropic's Claude desktop app to connect to your Lumia instance. This gives you the ability to query Lumia in a familiar interface with the model of your choice, with the ability to integrate this with all your other systems you have configured for use with Claude.
Download the Claude app from here: https://claude.com/download. Once installed, follow these instructions:
Open up the settings dialog
Add a connector
Lumia and Claude connect via a protocol called MCP. Claude calls this a ‘connector’.
Fill in the details for the connection
- Choose a name that makes sense for you
- The URL required is https://api.theadaptway.com/mcp
Confirm the permissions
The defaults as shown should be fine.
Complete authentication
After pressing ‘Connect’, you will be asked to authenticate. A browser tab will open with instructions on how to complete the process.
You will be redirected to the Lumia platform to allow connection to Claude.
Verify that the connector installation was successful
When the process is complete, Claude will show you the Connectors page. You should be able to click on your Lumia connector and see the details you have entered.
Note the ‘Disconnect’ button on this page to revoke the connector.
Usage
Now, in any chat inside Claude, you can query your Lumia data.
