Connect Grok to Adapt Lumia using a custom MCP connector. Once connected, Grok can use the read-only information and tools available to your Adapt account during a chat.
Before you begin
- Have a Grok account that can add custom connectors.
- Be ready to sign in to your Adapt Lumia account.
- Only connect a Grok account you trust, and review the access request before approving it.
Connect Grok to Lumia
- Go to grok.com. In Grok, select Plugins, then New Connector and Custom.
- Enter a name such as Adapt Lumia. In Server URL, enter
https://api.theadaptway.com/mcp, then select Add Connector.
- When the Adapt Lumia sign-in window opens, sign in with your usual Lumia account.
- Review Grok’s access request. It explains that Grok can use Lumia information and tools within your existing permissions and can stay connected until access expires or you revoke it. If you want to connect, select Allow access.
Grok should now list the connector as added. The screens and menu labels in Grok may change over time.
Use the connector in a chat
In a Grok conversation, select the Adapt Lumia connector when you want Grok to use Lumia. You can start with a question such as “What can you help me find in Lumia?”
Or ask about your CV scores, e.g.
Grok can only access information allowed by your Adapt account and organisation permissions. The connector cannot create, edit or delete Lumia records. Check important answers against the information in Lumia.
Disconnect Grok
If you no longer want Grok to access Lumia, revoke Grok’s access in your Lumia account settings. You can also remove the connector in Grok.
