This release focuses on connecting Lumia with external AI tools and introducing V2 of the developer API. Thank you to everyone who requested enhancements or reported bugs.

Major Enhancements
Connect your AI tools to Lumia
You can now use external AI clients, such as Claude and ChatGPT, to query data stored in your Lumia organisation through Model Context Protocol (MCP).
This gives you another way to work with your organisation’s information from an AI tool you already use. The integration provides read-only access, allowing you to ask questions about data stored in Lumia.

Developer API V2
We have introduced V2 of the developer API, with better support for Lumia’s latest architecture.
The major changes include:
- Groups throughout the API. Access information about all your group types, including teams, key functions and value streams.
- Access levels and assignments. See the access levels available in your organisation and who has them.
- Richer objective data. Retrieve objectives for a group, along with their key results.
- Organisation and group values. Access values and their behaviours for your organisation or individual groups.
- Updated guidance and survey data. Retrieve your current bullseye statement, survey participation and completed survey results.

Write support is also planned. As outlined in the Platform Roadmap, a future Write API will enable apps and AI agents to work with meeting agendas, minutes, decisions and actions, and to add or edit actions and comments. This is planned work and is not included in this release.
Minor Enhancements
Permission information in Lumia Assistant
You can now ask Lumia Assistant what a person is allowed to do in the platform. The assistant can use their permission settings, including customised access levels, to answer these questions.
Show inactive groups on the organisation map
Previously, finding an inactive group meant using Search or contacting support. A new view option on the organisation map now lets you find and reactivate these groups yourself. Active groups also remain visible when their parent group is deactivated.
Bug Fixes
Architecture
- Groups no longer appear under My Groups in the groups sidebar solely because you are an external person for a team role.
- Active groups remain visible on the organisation map when their parent group is deactivated.
- The diagram component selector now organises groups by their group type.
Activities
- Fixed an issue with duplicate cultural activity schedules that could show incorrect due dates or overdue reminders for Career Valuations.
Other
- Card payments that require an additional verification step (3D Secure) on first use are now supported. Cards that require authentication for every transaction are not supported at this time.
